Zero emission and high-efficiency drive system

Bucher Municipal has developed a custom-designed Bucher Battery Pack that’s tailored to the vehicle. This proven technology subject’s minimal footprint to the environment and provides low noise emissions. The custom designed battery pack is made to last a full 10-hour shift. The patented, sophisticated repair concept ensures maximum safety for the driver and the workshop.

On-board charger & energy recuperation

The 22 kW on-board charger means that batteries can be recharged in just a few hours at any public car-charging station. Even shorter charging times offers the DC fast charging option. Depending which recuperation level is selected the high-voltage battery will be charged during the deceleration. Thus, the range will be further extended.

Efficient, high capacity washer

This 5m3 electric washer is powered by a high-capacity battery system that drives both the vehicle and its washing functions, ensuring energy-efficient and quiet operation. Designed for sustainability and performance, the CityCat WR50e combines efficient energy use with powerful cleaning capabilities.

The CityCat WR50e is perfectly built for urban cleaning – from inner city streets to cleaning larger areas such as plazas, market squares and promenades.

Large water tank

Water capacity is up to 5000 l. The washer offers a maximum flow rate of 142 l/min and a maximum pressure of 100 bar. The pump is switched off automatically if there is a lack of water. The water undergoes double filtration, and the pressure is adjustable directly from the cab. 

360° cleaning

The hand lance and water hose with a length of 15 m and an automatic reel are attached to a boom mounted on top of the washer and allow 360° cleaning around the washer.

Ergonomic and smart

Each cabin comes with two fully fledged driver seats with headrests to offer not just a comfortable driving experience, but also an ergonomic workstation. In addition, a third folding seat can be installed, which allows the transport of three people at once.

We believe all drivers should enjoy working with our washers, so we’ve introduced a walk-through cab, soft touch steering and an armrest with ergonomically perfected controls. A great view out of the cab is not only provided by the big, heated front screen and all glass doors but also through the camera options of which the views can be displayed on the Smart-Con and CSense screens.

Of course, safety is crucial. From the 3-point safety belts to the enhanced illumination of the sweeping area - ensuring a safe overview and visibility for third parties - it’s our duty to take care.

Smart-Con - start sweeping with the push of a button

The CityCat WR50e offers an intuitive and ergonomic operation of the washer via the Smart-Con multifunctional armrest paired with the Smart-Con 4.3-inch display. The washer can be operated by one hand while having pop-up feedback on the Smart-Con screen for all automotive and washing related information which makes work a lot easier. Increases safety and ergonomics by always keeping the working area in sight.

CSense touch-display

The CSense 10.1-inch touch display enables extended setting possibilities and visual diagnostics while giving an excellent overview of the vehicle. The display can be adjusted in height and angle to ensure an ergonomic operation by the driver.
